🧠 The NSP Algorithm (Neuro Social Profile)

Documentation of the deterministic logic behind the Neuro Social Profile. The NSP identifies exactly how a user processes the world internally and how they manage social interactions externally. It removes guesswork by categorising the user into one of 16 highly specific psychological archetypes.

NSP ARCHETYPE

1. The Core Concept

To establish a user’s NSP we need to measure two psychological mechanisms:

1. The Interface

How users interact with others.

2. The Engine

How users process information internally.

2. The Key Metrics (The 4-Metric SSOT)

The system evaluates users based on four core numeric metrics. These 4 exact numbers are permanently saved in the JSON database as the Single Source of Truth (SSOT), keeping the entire platform visually and mathematically synchronized.

Pillar JSON Metric Scale Definition
Engine Stimulation 0 to 20 Need for novelty and excitement.
Structure 0 to 16 Need for predictability and order.
Interface Energy 0 to 100 Battery cost of social interaction.
Skill 0 to 100 Effortless reading of social cues.

3. The Method (Assessor vs Adjuster)

a. Initial Baseline (Page 1): The user answers 20 assessment questions. The system translates these answers into starting coordinate scores for the 4 metrics (e.g., Answering “Energized” sets Energy to 85/100).

b. The SSOT Save: The script locks these 4 numeric scores, calculates the user’s Archetype Class, and pulls the corresponding text description from the JSON Dictionary (dict_nsp_archetypes). Everything is saved to the JSON database.

c. The Override (Page 2): If the user feels misaligned, they visit the visual Adjuster. The page reads the 4 exact numbers from the JSON to position the UI sliders flawlessly. The user slides them to manually override the math, overwriting the JSON SSOT, which instantly updates Page 1.

4. The Classifications (The Thresholds)

Based on thresholds (midlines) within the 4 numeric scales, the user is sorted into one of four Engine classes and one of four Interface classes.

The Engine Classifications

Broad Spectrum = Structure < 10 | Stim < 12

Novelty Seeking = Structure < 10 | Stim ≥ 12

Structure Preferred = Structure ≥ 10 | Stim < 12

Dual Processor = Structure ≥ 10 | Stim ≥ 12

The Interface Classifications

Intuitive = Skill > 50 | Energy > 50

Masking = Skill > 50 | Energy ≤ 50

Processing Focus = Skill ≤ 50 | Energy ≤ 50

Balanced Social = Skill ≤ 50 | Energy > 50

5. Generating the NSP (The 16 Archetypes)

Finally, the user’s Interface and Engine classifications are combined to generate their exact Neuro Social Profile. The text definitions for these 16 archetypes are stored permanently in the JSON Schema (dict_nsp_archetypes).

NSP GAD (LOAD)

The base personality (Archetype) is permanent, but the system dynamically modifies the user’s dashboard based on their real-time GAD (Generalized Anxiety) assessment. This is called the “Neuro Load”.

Status System Response Visual Indicator
Low User is stable. System delivers normal, un-filtered protocols and standard communication. Low Load
Moderate / Elevated User is stressed. System begins simplifying daily tasks and reducing minor decision fatigue. Elevated Load
High / Severe User is in crisis/burnout. System strips all complexity. Delivers absolute minimum viable interventions to protect the nervous system. Severe Load
NSP STATE

While the Archetype is permanent and the Load changes slowly, the “State” determines which specific therapies are appropriate right now. You cannot “think” your way out of an Alarm state, and you cannot “relax” your way out of a Freeze state.

State System Diagnosis Clinical Identifiers & Symptoms
ALARM
Overheating
The system is mobilizing for danger. High Energy. Hot. Chaotic. Body: Heart pounding, shallow breath, shaking, sweating.
Mind: Hyper-vigilant, scanning for danger, “I have to escape.”
Emotions: Terror, rage, panic, overwhelmed.
FREEZE
Stalled
The system is collapsing to conserve energy. Low Energy. Cold. Heavy. Body: Heavy limbs, exhaustion, numbness, slow movement.
Mind: Zoning out, dissociation, brain fog, paralysis.
Emotions: Apathy, empty, disconnected, “I don’t care.”
LOOP
Spinning
The system is trying to “think” its way out of danger. Mental Noise. Repetitive. Stuck. Body: Tired but wired, unable to sit still.
Mind: Replaying conversations, catastrophizing, analysis paralysis.
Emotions: Obsessive, controlling, frustrated.
STABLE
Regulated
The system is regulated and safe. Capable. Connected. Present. Body: Deep breathing, relaxed muscles, steady heart.
Mind: Mental clarity, perspective, focused.
Emotions: Calm, curious, compassionate, safe.

How The Algorithm Evaluates Metrics

The Neuro Social Profile (NSP) uses 20 baseline questions mapped across two different mathematical models to generate the 4-Metric SSOT (Single Source of Truth).

1. THE INTERFACE (Coordinate Mapping)

Questions 1 through 3 translate subjective text answers directly into numerical coordinates (0-100) to map the visual grid:

  • Skill Level (Q1 & Q3): Triggers starting scores of 90, 70, 30, or 10. Anything above 50 crosses the midline into Natural Skill.
  • Energy Cost (Q2): Triggers starting scores of 85 or 15. Anything above 50 crosses the midline into Sustained Energy.

Result: The placement of these coordinates dictates your Interface (Intuitive, Masking, Processing Focus, or Balanced Social).

2. THE ENGINE (Additive Scoring)

Questions 4 through 20 use an additive point system (0, 1, or 2 points per answer) to calculate two competing neurological drives:

  • Structure (Out of 16): Evaluates your reliance on predictability. A score of 10 or higher triggers a High Structure baseline.
  • Stimulation (Out of 20): Evaluates your drive for novelty/dopamine. A score of 12 or higher triggers a High Stimulation baseline.

Result: Crossing these two thresholds determines your Engine (Broad Spectrum, Structure Preferred, Novelty Seeking, or Dual Processor).

3. DATA SYNCHRONIZATION (THE SSOT)

Because human psychology is subjective, the Assessor quiz (Page 1) acts only as a starting point. It generates the initial 4 metrics and pulls the Archetype text from the dict_nsp_archetypes JSON dictionary. If a user feels misaligned, they can visit the Adjuster (Page 2) to drag the visual sliders. Dragging these sliders directly overrides the 4 metrics mathematically, regenerating the Archetype text and permanently updating the JSON database to ensure unbreakable cross-platform consistency.
